I had the privilege of studying with a Mayan elder at what is believed by many cultures to be the Time of the Great Turning. It is believed by the Maya that December 21, 2012 marked the end of one cycle and paradigm “Time is Money”, as well as the beginning of a new cycle and paradigm, the theme of which is “Time is Art”. As such, I encourage my clients to connect to the forms of creativity and artistic expression that call to them. This time is about tending to our creative nature to support what it is that we are creating in our reality.
As a creative inspiration for a new beginning I would like to share this blessing by John O’Donohue called “For a New Beginning”. John O’Donohue helped to inspire the naming of my healing practice, New Life Rhythm.
“In out-of-the-way places of the heart,
Where your thoughts never think to wander,
This beginning has already been quietly forming,
